Flow Cytometry Immune Monitoring Shared Resource

RRID:SCR_023432

Cryo-preservation

We are able to assist with a number of cryo-preservation techniques suitable for uses such as CyTOF, flow cytometry and functional assays.

Service

Magnetic cell separation

We use Miltenyi MACS magnetic cell separation. This can be performed on human or mouse tissues.

Service

Tissue dissociations & Bone marrow extractions

Extracting cells from solid tissue (e.g., tumors, spleen, lymph nodes, etc.) for flow cytometry requires skill with tissue dissociation, we can help.

Collecting useful cells for analysis from bone marrow can be tricky, but we are here to assist.

Service

Metabolic assays (Seahorse XFe96)

The Agilent Seahorse XFe96 can be used to perform metabolic assays such as; mitochondrial function, ATP rate, Cell energy phenotype, Glycolytic rate and more. Ask for more details.

Service

Complex immune assays

Our Shared Resource can provide the needed instrumentation, expertise and support for assays such as: T cell proliferation & activation, ELISA, functional phenotyping, genomic immune profiling and more. Ask for more details.

Staff assistance - specific instruments

If your lab is in a time crunch, isn't ready to receive training, or you have a particularly challenging sample, our experienced staff are available to run your experiment for you.

The rate will be equal to instrument time (per hour) plus a staff labor charge (see iLab for "assisted use" rates, the rates vary depending on the instrument). There may be an additional set-up fee. We can provide a quote to estimate costs in advance of the service.
