Business office FAQ

For Customers without a University of Arizona KFS account (considered an External customer), Check, Credit card, ACH, or Wire Transfer ($25 wire transfer fee may be applicable).

For customers with a University of Arizona KFS account (Considered an internal customer), the account must be provisioned to you in your iLab group by the iLab group PI, lab manager, or iLab department manager. 

Checks must be payable to The University of Arizona. Remit advice should be emailed to corebusiness@arizona.edu or mailed to the Core Facilities Business office, PO BOX 210240, Tucson, AZ 85721.

The University of Arizona has many departments who can provide services and invoice for services rendered. For ACH payments, there is only 1 account to send funds to, but the remit advice should be emailed to the invoicing department. Similarly, if paid by checks, checks should be issued to The University of Arizona, but should be mailed to the invoicing department. If there are any questions, please reach out to department who issued the invoice.

Please email corebusiness@arizona.edu and provide a copy of your invoice. There is $25 Wire Transfer fee.

The above billing address is not match the address listed on our W-9, which list the University of Arizona Financial service address.

No, we cannot accept credit cards over the phone as we are not securely equipped to take your credit card over the phone.

Yes. You need to be an invoice owner, iLab group PI, iLab group manager, or iLab department manager to be able to provide a credit cad payment. If you cannot access the invoice in iLab, you do not have access to make a credit card. Please reach out to corebusiness@arizona.edu with your invoice number.

Please note that not all University of Arizona iLab cores accept credit cards.

If you are unable to update your billing address in your iLab profile (Click your name on the top right corner and then Profile), please contact iLabsupport@agilent.com. We are unable make any changes to your profile as you are an external customer.

Customer who pay with a University of Arizona KFS account are considered internal users.

Signup with your NetId as a University of Arizona User. You will need to find your PI iLab group. If you are unable to find your PI's iLab group, select "A Lab for unlisted PIs" to complete your registration and a Core business office staff will reach out to you to get more information. 

You can request to be a member of another iLab group by following these steps: 

Log into iLab > https://ua.ilab.agilent.com/landing/3645

1. Click the 3 bars on the top left corner (menu bar)
2. Click on My Groups
3. Click the Gray button – “Request Group Access”
4. In the pop up window:

• Institution: The University of Arizona
• Group: (find the iLab group, search by last name or the most unique part of the PI’s name)

1. Then click the blue “Request Access” Button.
2. Then the PI for that iLab group will receive an email about your request to join.
3. *If you can’t find the PI lab group, select "A Lab for Unlisted PIs” and someone will contact you.

If you need to stop being a member of an iLab group, please reach out to the iLab group PI, iLab groupmanager, or iLab department manager to have them expire your group membership.

Customers who pay via Purchase Order, Credit card, Check, or ACH are considered external users.

If your institution uses iLab, please follow your institution's instructions to register. If your institution does not use iLab, you can register here. If you need any assistance registering, please reach out to corebusiness@arizona.edu.

If you are requesting services on the behalf of the institution your iLab account is registered to, you do not need to register for another iLab account. If you have changed institutions, please register for a new iLab account under your new institution's email. Please reach out to corebusiness@arizona.edu if there are any questions.
